Return to Europe or prolonged stay in Chengdu / Beijing

Return to Europe on the day of your choice, based on how many days you want in Chengdu and/or Beijing/Shanghai. Extra days on own expense, but we can arrange for group tours with local guides and cheaper hotel deals

The floorball experience will be a mix of playing againt local teams and National teams + watching the World Games

Kamp om ballen

Which teams we will be playing against is dependent on the level of the players who sign up, but we know that several national teams are already interested in relevant warm-up matches against us. We will adjust the teams to match the opposition, ensuring no one felt left out at any time!

In addition to the national teams, we will also play against local teams. Chengdu has a lot of local teams, so we can set up relevant matches for accompanying little brothers and sisters. Everyone gets a chance to play and enjoy the sport!

We'll be staying in a "olympic village" style hotel, where all teams will be staying. We have been told it is very clean and nice. The standard is high, but it is a hotel oriented around sports, not so much luxury. The hotel is located in the middle of Chengdu, so we can easily get to the city center and all the attractions.

Included/Excluded

Please be advised that when we are creating floorball magic on the other side of the world and in countries with variable prior international floorball experience, changes and unexpected situations are inevitable. 🌍✨ If you expect everything to go smoothly, this tour is not for you. We have learned a lot during the estimated 1,680,000 km travelled and 1,200 nights in hotel for our group and feel that we are well equipped to handle cultural differences and meet the expectations of European floorball enthusiasts, but know that surprises, misunderstandings and last minute adjustments will come! 🌟 Here is a list of what you can and cannot expect:

Included

Help with the visa process. We'll guide you step-by-step through the process and provide you with a personal invitation from the federation - making the visa process much easier and travel arrangements more flexible
Airline tickets to and from Europe, including luggage, and joint transportation of sticks. We'll make sure no-one needs to fly to China outside a group
Lodging in hotels with 3, 4 or 5 stars. Hotel standard is good, but some things will be different to what you are used to.
Local bilingual guides will help us when on the ground in China and join us to the sport events. Help in setting up e-sim-services so that you can contact the rest of the world while in China

Tour clothing for competitors and accompanying family members: (pique jersey), gifts from sponsors and a pennant

Ground Rules. Important!

We are ambassadors during the tournament, and it is expected that we conduct ourselves in an exemplary manner.
There is zero tolerance for alcohol, tobacco, and disrespectful behavior. In the rare case of breaches, it might lead to a yellow card (warning), red card (one or more matches quarantine) or exclusion from the group.

The Main Goal is Cultural Exchange

Team Mars and Norway

Please note that we are invited guests! We are invited to this hidden gem because the teams over the past two years have behaved well and been fantastic ambassadors for Europe and the sport.

Please note that the use of alcohol, disrespect of organizers, other participants, or the local culture will not be accepted.

If some Europeans would like to participate in coaching less experienced Asian players, that would be cool, but it is not a requirement!
